Expertise & Ventures

Fields of Expertise

Expertise and ventures include the following:

Law, particularly oil and gas law, Constitutional law, and Civil Law, largely based on Roman law, Spanish law and Napoleonic law. This form of law is much more widespread throughout the world than is the common law.

Foreign affairs, with an in depth knowledge of many foreign countries and their cultures. With perhaps a dissident non academic approach, which it is believed has been verified by the unfolding of events.

Louisiana history and political history. An important knowledge of music and art, including building design, having been exposed to wide varieties of each, from classical to jazz in music and having visited nearly every important art museum in the world.

A distinctive approach to oil and gas geology, with a focused knowledge on existing and potential oil and gas fields in Louisiana. Know more about the oil and gas prospects of one particular country probably than any other person. This country produces little at the present time, but does have potential. For more information, link to OilGasTech on the Web.

Projects and Ventures

Have put together various significant business deals including industrial properties, oil and gas exploration, timber transactions and various other ventures. One transaction not mentioned, it being impracticable to list them all, was learning how to do a patent search in the Patent Office, by actually physically searching the patents, and obtaining a patent for the inventor, who then formed a successful company.

Have represented several inventors and was intrigued by their work and personalities.

A new area of interest is the biotech and nanotech arena. I have been brought some ventures in those fields in their initial stages. It is believed that with my diverse background I will contribute significantly to their development.

In fact, one could be helpful in any project or venture that has potential, it being a firm belief that there is no project or venture, based on a good idea, which is off limits.
